My wife and I had the incredible great fortune to work with Anne/Gould Team, Keller Williams when we were looking for a new house in the Ann Arbor area this past summer. Because we were moving from the west side of the state to the east side, we weren't very familiar with the real estate market in this part of the world. Anne was the perfect real estate agent for us to help navigate this unfamiliar territory. She was incredibly knowledgeable and incredibly patient with us.                We met Ann Kohls roughly 8 month ago while we were looking for a lake home. Before we met Ann we had spent roughly 4 years looking for a cottage struggling to find a right place.  Ann was able to turn our home search into a fast paced, focused, well organized project that fit our needs precisely and produced very fruitful results in just a few months.  Her honest, straight forward, no nonsense style deserves great admiration and all the way through the process we felt that Ann was on our side and catered to our interests.  I would definitely recommend Ann Kohls to anyone who is serious about buying a home.  She has elevated our home buying experience to a totally difference level, making it very simple, predictable and plain joyful.

TO; ANYONE WHO NEEDS TO FIND A GREAT REALTOR

Are you looking for a great realtor? One who gets the job done? One who doesn’t make you feel that it’s somehow your problem that you have to sell your home in this crazy housing market? Did you go through a divorce? Did you loose your job? Do you have to move because of your job?  Let’s face it, there are a million reasons why someone has to sell their house, but it doesn’t have to always be a nightmare looking for the right realtor. Let me share my story so your decision will put you in the position to hire the BEST realtor right out of the gate. There will be no need for you to find another.

I went through a divorce almost four years ago. At that time, the market wasn’t bad, so I figured with my good job, I’d keep the house even though it would be difficult. After all, your home should be your best asset right? Well, then the market took a HUGE nosedive. After two years of making the payments I finally decided I needed to sell the house. After numerous realtors and an impossible mortgage company who initially said absolutely no concessions, I finally was referred by another realtor to Debi Gould &  THE GOULD TEAM. That was the best thing anyone could of donefor me. The market was bad, the suggestion was made to possibly lease. I would of never thought of that. I wanted to sell, sell sell! Well, that decision was a good one. I leased and after their lease was up, my home was marketed to bring a buyer and 10 days after the rentors moved out I had an offer on the table that sold my home. The right suggestions in a bad market are crucial to a favorable outcome.

There were numerous homes for sale in my subdivision, some of which were already in foreclosure and cheaper than mine. It was suggested that I hire a short sale specialist, which assisted in the negotiations with my mortgage company. The best thing about that is Debi Gould realized she and her team could do the short sale on their own, so she is now certified to do the short sales. This will save you money, time, and who wants to deal with their mortgage company in negotiations? I assure you, it’s best you let the experts handle it ALL. 

Not every person is in the position to have to do a short sale. Unfortunately, I was but I am so thankful to of finally got a realtor who knew how to market my home, sell it quickly, but most of all be a constant professional who made my experience a great one. So great, I have nominated her for realtor of the year. I normally don’t do those kind of things, but when you come across who goes above and beyond, sometimes you just need to know how appreciated they are.
